InteriorDesignAnalysis:Linda Ikeji's New Office Design Flaw.

A huge congratulations to my very senior blogger colleague , Linda Ikeji who achieved a great milestone with the launch of her new office/studio.

To commemorate that, the iconic blogger showed off a portion of the decorated new office space on the net. As an Interior designer, every item of the interior work caught my attention. The arrangement, color blend, furnishing/decorating items, floor and all.

Great job done by Linda and her Interior design team I must say, as the black and white with touches of red themed design but for one flaw was almost flawless. That one flaw propelled me to write this, read it after the cut........
When using two strong colors never let one outweigh the other. That is the flaw! From the picture above, the predominately white room has touches of two strong colors which are black and red. The imbalance happened in the overuse of red, which took away from the ambiance and wow look.

In a three color themed design you use 2 soft colors and a strong one. When using two strong colors over a soft one, let the two strong colors be evenly distributed.

Replace that red Persian rug with a black or a black and white one and you will have a more appreciable interior impression.

When it comes to red do touches not flood.

More on colors and their perfect play for your interior soon. Stay tuned to interior majik.
